Hello, Jason!

I wanted to take a moment to sincerely thank you for the steadfast support you've shown for my stories on Substack.

As I wrap up my “Love Musings” collection, I'm excited to embark on a new journey of creating a book series on Lulu.com.

Your work has been an incredible source of guidance, and your encouraging words have been a tremendous motivation for me to continue writing.

Writing truly is a therapeutic experience, and I am deeply grateful to you.

By the end of this month, I’m planning to purchase “Accelerated Times,” followed by “Survive the Strip” in the second week of June. I have a particular fondness for paperbacks!

After finishing Love Musings, I'll be posting an article titled “…Intermission” to inform my readers that I’ll be taking a short break. However, I’ll return in mid-August with new stories about my experiences as a hospital volunteer.

Right now, I'm in the process of getting the necessary vaccinations and eagerly awaiting the “Volunteer Year Round” applications to open from August to September. I've been immersing myself in learning all about volunteering and the requirements at Georgetown University Hospital (GTUH).

I find great joy in comforting the sick, offering companionship to the lonely, and advocating for those in the emergency room.

I wrote a story “Foundations - The Nun,” about my first surgery experience at GTUH, which had a profound impact on me and inspired me to return and provide comfort just as the nurses and nun did for me during my stay.

Helping others has always been a passion of mine, and now that I'm retired, I can fully dedicate myself to it.

This is my plan, and I’m hopeful about the opportunity to volunteer.

Once again, your work continues to serve as both an inspiration and a guide for me.

I've decided to move on from Fountain.

I can't thank you enough for your kindness, sir!‼️

Respectfully,

Mia Z. Edwards 🌿
